例文：

TIPS：
figure out は「考えて決める」「整理する」の超定番表現です。
2.「We might do a beach trip this year.」
意味：
今年は海旅行するかも
例文：
We might do a beach trip this year if we can get a few days off.
TIPS：
do a beach trip はネイティブっぽい自然な旅行表現です。
3.「It’s going to be packed.」
意味：
めちゃくちゃ混みそう
例文：
If we go in August, it’s going to be packed.
TIPS：
夏休み・連休・テーマパークの話でかなりよく使います。
4.「We’re trying to avoid the crowds.」
意味：
人混みを避けようとしてる
例文：
We’re trying to avoid the crowds this year.
TIPS：
旅行だけでなく、イベントや観光地の話でもよく使います。
5.「The kids keep asking when we’re leaving.」
意味：
子どもたちが「いつ出発するの？」ってずっと聞いてくる
例文：
The kids keep asking when we’re leaving for our trip.
TIPS：
keep asking は「何回も聞いてくる」のリアル会話で超頻出です。
6.「We’re keeping it low-key this summer.」
意味：
今年の夏はのんびり過ごす予定
例文：
We’re keeping it low-key this summer and staying home mostly.
TIPS：
派手に予定を入れず、落ち着いて過ごすニュアンスがあります。
7.「We’re doing a short trip this year.」
意味：
今年は短めの旅行にする予定
例文：
We’re doing a short trip this year because everyone’s busy.
TIPS：
do a trip はネイティブがかなり自然に使う言い方です。
8.「I need to take some time off.」
意味：
少し休みを取らなきゃ
例文：
I need to take some time off in August.
TIPS：
会社員同士の夏休みトークでかなりよく使います。
9.「Flights are crazy expensive right now.」
意味：
今、航空券めちゃくちゃ高い
例文：
Flights are crazy expensive right now, so we’re still deciding.
TIPS：
crazy は「かなり」「異常に」のカジュアル強調です。
10.「We’re planning around the kids’ schedule.」
意味：
子どもの予定に合わせて計画してる
例文：
We’re planning around the kids’ schedule this summer.
TIPS：
家族旅行・習い事・サマーキャンプの話で自然によく使います。
